The Stop And Go Racing Team run by Eduardo Perales reached an agreement with the prestigious Swiss chassis manufacturer Eskil Suter to compete in the Motorcycle World Championship for the Moto2 category. After months of deliberation, the Stop And Go Racing Team has chosen the option to evaluate the development by Eskil Suter in the world of racing at its highest level. The integrated team structure (which will direct assistance in the World Championship) is commitment with Suter for the development needed to provide the highest level of competition possible.
Hector Faubel and Ratthapark Wilairot will be the riders responsible for defending the colors of the Stop And Go Racing Team after a good 2009 season managed by Eduardo Perales. The team based in Fruitós de Bages Sant, will begin spring training February 17 with three days of testing in Montmelo. The team will visit differentworld championship circuits after this to continue preparing for the 2010 Championship with twelve days to complete pre-season testing.
Eduardo Perales: "For a long time we have been evaluating various options on the table to compete in the new Moto2 Category. We have visited the factories one by one and I recognize that all options were on a very high technical level making it very difficult to decide. We have consulted our riders and our technicians to have finally decided to use Suter because we think that if offers a lot of confidence in winning the first Moto2 championship. Both the technical team and our riders look forward to the era of working on brand new machines." |
